With nearly a decade of programming experience at Columbia Secondary School in Harlem, Megan Thomas brings a wealth of expertise in educational programming, scheduling, and equity-focused strategy. She excelled at managing complex middle and high school schedules, skillfully navigating constraints such as limited space and faculty resources.  

Megan is a proponent of using data-driven approaches to improve outcomes and participation. By leveraging tools like Google Suite, she streamlined communication, created individualized Google Forms for students, collected actionable feedback from faculty and students, and implemented equitable processes to close outcome gaps. Her collaborative efforts often led to meaningful changes, from revising protocols to boosting school-wide participation in advanced courses.  

As a former teacher, Megan understands the importance of fostering school spirit and creating strong connections between administrators, students, and parents. She worked directly with parents to address concerns and build trust while supporting faculty in implementing changes that improved student outcomes. When her school needed a way to connect and inspire its community, Megan stepped up to create a student-led video news channel, which became a unifying force for students, families, and staff alike.  

Megan's passion for equity, creative problem-solving, and building stronger school communities drives her consulting work.
